How To Introduce Children To Comics?

Festivals, workshops, internships … Initiatives are not lacking to make discover the universe of the comic book to our dear blond heads.

Children generally appreciate comics. Illustrated and containing short texts, they represent a good way to discover reading. In France, many festivals are held throughout the year for a life-size approach! Among the next, there is the European Comic Strip Exhibition to be held on the forecourt of the Nimes Arena on 27 and 28 April 2013. Sixty authors will be present for signing sessions. The children will be able to participate in six drawing workshops, in partnership with Canal J and Milan Presse, and benefit from the advice of recognized authors. From May 24th to 26th, it’s the Puteaux Comic Festival, which offers lectures, workshops, book signings and a big live fresco by a draftsman. OF
